If the dealer painted over the seals, then you can guess there was something they wanted to hide. At first, you may not think a car being out in all types of weather is cause for concern.

The later can create a condition where your breaks go spongy, or even fail. In addition, the suspension and shocks on the car will rust a lot faster. Even if you are looking at a used Audi, the parts will not be immune to these problems.
Financially speaking, you may have to give up the cheap car insurance you had on a vehicle that was paid off. For that reason alone, you should examine any used car with a critical eye. In particular if you must pay for the vehicle with car loans, the last thing you will want is to have to spend money for repairs during the length of the loan.
